Windows Phone E-Mail Preview

Later this year, the all-new, Mobile 6.5-free Windows Phone will hit the shelfs. It seems Microsoft is doing their best to repeat some of Apple's mistakes (no copy-paste, no multitasking) – yet still, the first preview videos which turned up today look quite promising:

Even though the new OS is based on Silverlight 4 and does its best to keep up with the coolness factor of Android and iPhone OS, the Internet Explorer preview to me looks like business as usual. Actually, it reminds me of Opera Mobile:

Windows Mobile never quite captured geeks' hearts, yet still it used to be a reliable workhorse. I'm looking forward to test driving the new OS – but if I learned one thing from all my smartphone tests, it's this: never trust the first impression. What's your opinion about the Windows Phone?
