Lee Scratch Perry: Blackboard Jungle Documentary

Paul from Dubblestandart send me this great documentary about the movement Lee Perry started when he produced his classical “Blackboard Jungle” Album, 6 minutes of education and great footage – gotta know your roots!

The video footage of the Lee “Scratch” Perry / Dubblestandart show in Central Park, NYC, for a capacity crowd plus a secret show in Brooklyn. Also includes interview footage with UK dubstep producer Rusko. I still regret having missed the concert in Vienna – it seems that Lee, aged 70+, is bragging about his hard-on on stage (respect!) – but I'm really looking forward to the next subatomicsound gig. “We gonna chase the devil outta earth!”
